Thirty-three players gathered to pay their respects to those we have lost over the years. After a minute of silence, Petanque Wallingford’s Memorial Day began on a very overcast but dry day. It was lovely to see Kevin’s sister Kathy visit us in the morning. A raffle was held, raising £183.00, which will be used to support the club in the future. Six players finished on three games, but with a two-point lead, Chris Hurst took the trophy, made by Therese many years ago.
