Although we didn’t expect a high turnout, especially as the weather wasn’t brilliant, 23 people turned up for the impromptu Easter Monday Melee, including 8 guests plus 1 new prospective member.
There were three rounds of timed games with a break, in between, for coffee and cake.
The overall winner was Simon, Jane was close behind in second place. Fletcher Salsbury came first winning the chocolate bunny for the under 13’s.
Everybody said that they enjoyed the mornings play. We were glad the rain held off until the very end, thank you to the helpers for clearing up and hopefully everyone got home in time for Easter lunch.
